Coolpad Note 5 Launched in India

Coolpad India today launched “Note 5” in India which is priced at Rs 10,999. It will on open sale exclusively on Amazon India starting October 20. This is Coolpad’s ‘Made in India’ smartphone and will successed the Coolpad Note 3.

On design front, it has unibody design made of metal. It feels bit premium with respect to Coolpad Note 3 and 2.5D curved glass is similar to what we saw on the Coolpad Mega 2.5D.

Coolpad Note 5 specifications

The Coolpad Note 5 has a 5.5-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) IPS display with 2.5D curved glass, CPU is Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 octa-core, Adreno 405 graphics and 4GB LPDDR3. It has also got 32GB internal storage, which is further expandable with MircoSD card up to 64GB. On camera front, the Coolpad Note 5 is equipped with a 13-megapixel primary camera with LED flash whereas the 8-megapixel front camera with 80° wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash it also has got a fingerprint scanner placed just below the rear camera.

Coolpad Note 5 packs a 4,010mAh battery and supports Qualcomm® Quick Charge™ 3.0 technology. On connectivity front, it supports 4G with VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1 and OTG support. On the software front, it runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0 wrapped under Cool 8 UI.

Coolpad Note 5 is set to compete with Redmi Note 3 & Lenovo Vibe K5 Note, both priced at Rs 11,999. They all have similar specifications like 5.5-inch Full HD display, 32GB internal storage, Hybrid microSD/SIM card slot, fingerprint scanner, 4G with VoLTE etc.
